The Collection Development Committee of the South Central Academic Medical Libraries Consortium leads collaborative efforts to build and sustain high-quality health sciences collections across member institutions in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Aligned with SCAMeL’s mission to support education, clinical care, research, and community engagement, the committee coordinates the evaluation and selection of shared resources while leveraging collective purchasing power to expand access to essential biomedical information.
